Files are the atomic unit of the File System. The actual content of a file is a URL which the browser can read, load, and render the contents of the file. Files can also have optional metadata attached to it to provide additional context.

• Name (unique)
• URL: underlying content of each file
• Last Opened
• Added Date
• Added By / Owner
• Kind: to identify
• Tag
• Metadata (see below)

Metadata

All metadata are optional attributes on a file. Other apps in the future may be able to modify metadata on the file with features like previews and quick access.
